WordPress, from build to launch
Production WordPress development at Pace Communications, connecting custom PHP work with the workflows needed to maintain and deploy it.
The project
My backend work spans developing and maintaining WordPress applications in Composer-managed environments on Pantheon. I build custom MU-plugins and manage dependencies across WordPress core, themes, and internal and third-party plugins.
My contribution
- Develop and maintain production WordPress applications using PHP.
- Build custom MU-plugins and manage application dependencies through Composer.
- Support CI/CD and deployment workflows using Git, WP-CLI, Terminus, and Bash.
- Independently developed and launched a nonprofit client’s WordPress website, owning development through deployment.
